Crop's growing and freezing the finest fresh ingredients all over the world. Offering four veg facilities (Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Poland) and four fruit facilities (Serbia, Poland, Morocco, Costa Rica), all located in the middle of the fields and each chosen for its soil and climate.

The Supply Chain Director, Filip Toye and Customer Service Manager, Thierry Beernaert were in search for a smart and fast way to automate the transport invoice process.

The Logistics team is responsible reconcile the invoices for transports with their ERP, this to ensure the invoicing was according delivered services.


A very important process, but was not the most exiting task at hand within customer service team.

A combination of back-end and front-end automation was applied to tackle this automation challenge.

The transport invoice bot automatically reads and selects the emails with transport invoices, consequently extracts of each invoice key information like invoice number and reference numbers. As a next step it checks for each invoice in the ERP-system if all transports were correctly invoiced, any issues will be communicated with customer service team.

By automating this process, Botique enabled Crop's to significantly reduce manual labor and improve accuracy. This solution not only optimized their operational efficiency but also allowed their employees to focus on more impactful, value-adding activities within the business.
