The supply chain and sales teams saw an excellent opportunity to optimize the forecast procurement process for packaging materials. Previously, determining the optimal timing and exact quantities for orders required highly manual interpretation of lengthy weekly SAP stock prevision tables.
Thanks to vital input by Business Architect Filip Toye, and key-users like Lara Van Acker, Justine Doize and Louise Picavet, we were able to co-design an automation that streamlines decision-making, ensure timely orders, capture volume opportunities, and proactively safeguard the packaging for smooth finished-goods production.
